WebParrot is an attempt to enrich your offline web page experience on mobile devices. It is designed to make your offline browsing smarter, easier and better. You can load interesting web sites as you browse at home in the morning. Later, when you are away from home, simply select Parrot Mode and then browse data plan free.
WebParrot currently supports all iOS devices: iPhone, iPad, iPad mini and iPod Touch on iOS 7.1 and up.
WebParrot is not a full blown web browser; actually, it is far from so. It provides offline experiences by taking advantage of web data collected as you browse the web. It redisplays the web pages from collected page data when it detects the pages are out of reach or when there is no internet access.
Like a parrot, it repeats what you teach it. WebParrot tries to memorize every individually visited web page and keeps that on the mobile device by default. You can optionally turn off the recording mode while browsing by tapping the tape icon on the tool bar.
Although we have tested WebParrot with most of the major web sites, there are still some web sites that we missed. Currently, we found that WebParrot is having trouble displaying some web sites which provide rich visual effect. Furthermore, video clips found on web pages are not yet supported.
